Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Consultant specializing in Property and Casualty (P&C) Regulatory Reporting Solutions to join our Professional Services Team. As a Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing and delivering our SaaS based P&C regulatory reporting solution, regul8, to clients in the insurance industry. Your expertise in regulatory reporting, data management, combined with your strong project management and analytical skills, will drive successful regul8 deployments and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation of our P&C regulatory reporting solution, working closely with clients and third-party consultants to understand their specific reporting requirements, configure the solution accordingly, and ensure successful deployment within agreed timelines.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of clients' regulatory reporting needs, working collaboratively with internal teams to map requirements into solution patterns and configure regul8 accordingly.

  • Provide feedback to product teams regarding process and product improvement opportunities.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on regulatory reporting best practices, data requirements, and compliance with industry-specific regulations.

  • Develop project schedule, define deliverables, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful regul8 deployments. Proactively identify and address any potential roadblocks or risks that may impact project timelines or outcomes.

  • Conduct thorough testing of regul8 to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies through comprehensive root cause analysis.

  • Provide training and guidance to clients on the effective use of regul8, empowering them to independently manage bureau reporting post-implementation.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate computer science degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience. 

  • A minimum of three years P&C insurance business analysis experience, with preference given to candidates having regulatory reporting experience (IBC/GISA, GAA or FA/RSP).

  • Experience as a technical consultant or systems analyst.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation skills for delivering solution demonstrations and training sessions.

  • Familiarity with data technologies, such as SQL and data management tools.

  • Familiarity in P&C insurance data.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory guidelines and translate them into actionable solution requirements.

  • Ability to write, represent and communicate highly complex material in a clear and concise manner in the form of business requirements. 

  • Ability to influence and negotiate decisions.

  • Ability to analyze complex information and situations, exercising good judgment and business expertise when determining appropriate actions or solutions.

  • Experience working with XML, XSLT and web deployments is an asset.

  • CIP designation is an asset.
