Full Stack Developer

Position Summary

Tired of only working on a single micro-service? Do you want to get the big picture of how your work delivers value to large companies? Are you interested in being part of a great team that’s disrupting the insurance industry? As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of Hubio Technology’s Product Engineering team who is responsible for designing and developing innovative software and services for the insurance industry.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and develop software products (SaaS)

• Find innovative ways to build efficient code

• Collaborate with other developers, product management, consultants and customers

• Able to influence the product and technology roadmap

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in computer science or related discipline

• Thorough understanding of web and cloud technologies

• 2+ years hands-on development experience - JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, microservices, APIs, cloud development and DevOps practices

• Ability to work in an agile environment

• Excellent communication skills and a team player

• Curiosity to constantly explore, learn, teach and collaborate

Nice to Have

• Experience with Golang, Python

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS

• Experience with CI/CD

• Knowledge of Serverless architectures (i.e. AWS Lambda)

• Entrepreneurial and active in the Toronto Tech community
