Data Engineer
Position Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of Hubio Technology’s Data Practice who is responsible for developing and supporting our products’ data platform and client data integrations.
Key Accountabilities
Design and develop robust data components (data model and scripts) to enable data processing by Hubio products
Consult, develop and support data integration solutions for client implementations
Develop data validation and reconciliation tools
Analyze and troubleshoot data quality issues
Optimize and modernize legacy data solutions to cloud data platforms
Collaborate extensively with full-stack developers, consultants and clients
Prepare data sets and builds data pipeline automation and execute ad-hoc data pipelines
Qualifications
Undergrad degree in computer science or related discipline/work experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with SQL, Python, R
Knowledge of big data and cloud technologies
Detail and quality-oriented
Nice to Have
Understanding of insurance data
Experience with big data and cloud data technologies (Athena, EMR, Redshift)
